Hasbro ha annunciato ufficialmente che è partito lo sviluppo di Transformers: War for Cybertron 2, sequel dell'action uscito il 25 giugno 2010 dedicato ai celebri mecha ancora sviluppato dai ragazzi di High Moon. Il titolo arriverà nel 2012 per PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Pc e Wii.
